Dance Showcase EDS

It takes large amounts of confidence to express opinions and feelings, especially when words fail. You have to put yourself out there, lay yourself bare. So, I believe, when it comes to dance, confidence and vulnerability are one and the same.

For Uni-T Crew, dance has many meanings as an art form, sport, and social activity. We move our bodies for everything, especially to control ourselves, so the way we act affects how our bodies are seen. You are invited to witness a series of personal and cultural stories from the choreographic perspectives of university students. In this showcase we hope to connect with you on a deeper level than just Hip Hop entertainment. “The Language of Confidence” is a reflection of our reality, a liberationist demonstration, and a glimpse into your own potential.
