As soon as you watch the news, the world seems to be on fire. Donald Trump is president of America again and is threatening to take action against Panama or even Greenland, elections are coming up in Germany that could strain relations in Europe, North Koreans are fighting on the Russian side in Ukraine and violence continues to flare up despite a truce between Israel and Hamas. Current events follow each other so fast that it is almost impossible to keep up! So time for a Current Affairs Lecture in which we take a deeper look at that which is pressing with an expert.
Because the lecture is about current events, the exact topic will be announced closer to the date. In doing so, we are keeping a small waiver: if no available expert can be found (can happen) or there are no pressing events in the world (unlikely), the lecture may not take place. You will be notified about that.
This Current Affairs Lecture is organized by Studium Generale and Prof. Michal Onderco. The next lecture in this series will be on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
