Why does the American economy recover faster than the Dutch? Will the real estate market stabilize? And what about the call for radical change, that is heard daily since the outbreak of the financial crisis? Lunch lecture by professor Jaap van Duijn.
Prof. dr. Jaap van Duijn is a former board member of Robeco. In his lecture he formulates the biggest challenges for the financial world. He analyzes the biggest threats in policy and politics. And he poses one of the most urgent questions of this time out loud: what if struggling companies and governments keep failing their financial obligations? How will power be restructured?
Jaap van Duijn is the author of ‘Pile of debt’ (‘De Schuldenberg’). He was a professor of Economy at Delft University, the University of Amsterdam and the Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University). Until 2005 he was a member of the board of the Dutch asset management firm Robeco.
