Professor Dr. Steven Kushner is professor of neurobiological psychiatry at the Erasmus MC. His researches include cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in storing memories in the brain and the neurobiology behind psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia. At the time of his appointment (2009), he was the youngest medical professor of the Netherlands.
