The Dutch Student Jazz Orchestra (NSJO) with talented singer Berenice van Leer (Kraak & Smaak / Wicked Jazz Sounds) and Nils Davidse (key player of the Handsome Poets) will bring you an exciting show, mixing the beats and grooves of modern electronic music and elements from the jazz and soul tradition. After the show the DJ will take over and keeps you dancing for the next few hours!

With ‘Beats in Transition’ The Student Jazz Orchestra of the Netherlands (NSJO) is going on its 4th tour. After a week of full time rehearsals this student based orchestra will go on tour through the Netherlands, including the Erasmus Paviljoen on the 16th of December! This years exhilarating show will be filled with an exciting combination of the beats and grooves of electronic music and a 30 member jazz orchestra. Elements of the jazz, soul and funk tradition will merge with the feel of the modern trance and pop music. Not ready to go home after the show? No worries, because the DJ is taking over and will keep you dancing for the next few hours.

The NSJO is going on tour with none less than Berenice van Leer as singer. Berenice is know as the frontwoman of Wicked Jazz sounds and Kraak & Smaak. With her powerful voice and strong stage performance she knows how to turn a party on. Next to her, Nils Davidse will add the beats to the music with his keys and synths. As the key player of the Handsome Poets this young talent has an incredible amount of stage experience playing at many big festivals. Last but not least, the band will be led by the phenomenal trombone player and director Bert Pfeiffer.
