Studium Generale will provide with you a special student night of the International Comedy Festival Rotterdam for only 6 euros (others 11 euro)
Expect to laugh out loud with two top-comedians from abroad and one from Holland who will show you he/she is just as funny in English as in Dutch. Finish this mix up with a great MC and you know you will be perfectly warmed up for the upcoming festival’s edition.
The comedians are:
John Fealey, through no real fault of his own, has become one of the most experienced and well-travelled comedians working today. His hobbies are watching women play pool, sleight of hand and carphology. His pet hates are carrying things, small talk and raw tomatoes. He is very kind to animals and hardly ever appears naked in public.
Originally from Nottingham, Sarah Keyworth is fast-becoming a regular on the London circuit and will be Artist in Residence for this festival. Her material is a mix of honest anecdotal storytelling about her Midlands upbringing, made surreal with the occasional addition of a silly observation. As she will be staying in Rotterdam for a week, you will be getting some sharp observations on our city and inhabitants as well.
Trevor Lock’s brand of spontaneous stand-up—mixing cleverly crafted wordplay with stream of consciousness improvisation, true stories, one-liners and wild flights of fancy— has gained him a worldwide cult following: no two shows are the same. He has appeared on Comedy Central UK and with Stewart Lee and Russell Brand.
Tickets (6 euro for students and 11 euro fo others) are available via our webshop.
